Homemade gifts

The time for gift sewing is here 💝 In this blog post I've collected some suggestions for patterns that are great as gifts. I start with small patterns that are quick to sew and end with some popular unisex patterns, if you have the opportunity to set aside more time and fabric for the gift ✨

First of all, I would like to recommend the pattern package with 10 patterns from last year's Advent calendar. There you will find something for the home, some Christmas decorations and great gifts, at a nice package price. If you missed the calendar last year, this is a great replacement ⭐️

The content of this year's Advent calendar will be available on December 1st, and then you will have the opportunity to open all the doors, if you are very impatient. Otherwise, you can open one door at a time 🤗 Buy it now, and you will be ready when it opens 💕 It contains 24 digital patterns for gifts for both young and old!

If you prefer to buy one pattern at a time, we have several nice small patterns to choose from. They are great for leftover fabric and quick to sew. It's a great feeling to be able to conjure up a gift from something you have left over, instead of having to buy new.

The Elias balaclava , the Harald hat , the Knut cap and the Egil mittens are warm and cozy accessories that can be made from an old sweater or wool scraps from the fabric store. They are made for knitted fabrics and perhaps especially wool jersey or bouclé. You can also find these patterns in the winter package , along with the Kalle gaiters.

If you want to sew small gifts in solid fabrics, perhaps remnants of slightly embellished fabrics, the Hedda headband, the Henrik tie, the Ola crossbow, and the Bo cape are nice gifts, suitable for beginners. With one of these patterns, the recipient will get that little something extra for their party outfit. All four patterns are reversible, so it becomes a double gift!

For the practical, the Biggi bag is a simple project that brings great joy. It is a bag that holds most things and is also great for carrying Christmas gifts in. If you are more experienced, you can make someone extra happy with the Guro project bag. It is also great as a regular everyday bag, especially the small version.

If you have more time and fabric to spare, the Maggi sweater is a great project in jersey, isoli or similar knitted fabric. It comes with or without a hood, and the pattern is unisex.

Do you prefer woven fabric? The Gilles shirt and the Sørensen work vest are also unisex patterns, which have become big favorites for gifts over the past year. What the two patterns also have in common is that they are well suited for a practical person, who may not want much else. There were a lot of Sørensen under the tree last year and I'm guessing there will be more this year!
