Britt
Britt are comfortable and cool dungareees, with ties on the shoulders and deep pockets on the sides. It is easy to sew and fits many bodies. You can choose between two different leg widths. This pattern is also available for kids.
In order for the instructions to be easy to follow for a beginner, All steps are thoroughly explained with text and illustrations.
The pattern is available as a PDF in Norwegian and English or as a paper pattern in Norwegian. All sizes are included when you buy a pattern.

Sizes: 32-64 (Size chart)
You need:
- Sewing thread
- 2.6 m - 4 m fabric* (140 cm width)
*size 32-38: 2.6 m
size 40-46: 2.8 m
size 48-50: 3.2 m
size 52-64: 4 m
This is included when you buy the PDF pattern:
- Illustrated instructions with text in Norwegian and English
- Pattern in A4 format that can be printed on a normal printer and taped together. Select 100% as format before printing in A4
- Pattern in A0 format that can be printed at a copy shop.
Number of A4 pages to print: 38 (pattern only) or 62 (pattern + instructions)
This is included when you buy a paper pattern:
- Instruction booklet with drawing and text in Norwegian.
- Pattern sheets with all sizes included
- Label that you can sew into your garment
- A nice envelope to keep the pattern in
A mid-weight fabric is recommended. Solid fabrics such as twill, tweed, thin denim, wool or soft corduroy will work well. The examples in the picture are sewn in woven fabrics, but Britt can also be made in jersey, with elastic seams.
Fabric choice for the garments pictured:
- Britt with wide legs in pink baby cord, used together with a blue Elvane top in woven viscose from Lillestrøm sysenter.
- Britt with narrow legs in denim from Lillestrøm sewing center used together with Elvane top in checked cotton.
- Blue-grey Britt in medium-thick wool used together with a dotted Ada top in woven viscose from Lillestrøm sysenter.
- Dark blue Britt with wide legs in structured, firm wool fabric used with a striped Maggi t-shirt.
