Britt mini

Britt are comfortable and cool dungarees, with ties on the shoulders and deep pockets on the sides. It is easy to sew and fits many bodies. This pattern is also available for adults.

In order for the instructions to be easy for a beginner to follow, all steps are thoroughly explained with text and illustrations.

The pattern is available as a PDF in Norwegian and English or as a paper pattern in Norwegian. All sizes are included when you buy a pattern.

Level: Beginner+

Sizes: 80-152 (measurement chart)

You need:

• Sewing thread
• 1.3 m - 1.8 m fabric* (140 cm width)

*size 80-92: 1.3 m, size 98-110: 1.5 m, size 116-134: 1.6 m, size 140-152: 1.8 m.

This is included when you buy the PDF pattern:

• Illustrated instructions with text in Norwegian and English
• Pattern in A4 format that can be printed on a normal printer and taped together. Select 100% as format before printing in A4
• Pattern in A0 format that can be printed at a copy shop

Number of A4 pages to print out: 18 (pattern only) or 30 (pattern + instructions)

This is included when you buy a paper pattern:

• Instruction booklet with drawing and text in Norwegian.
• Pattern sheets with all sizes included
• Label that you can sew into your garment
• A nice envelope to store the pattern in

Fabric choice

A medium-weight fabric in cotton, linen or wool is recommended, but thinner fabrics can also work well, as long as they can withstand wear and tear. You can use both woven fabrics and jersey, but remember to use an elastic seam if you are going to sew in an elastic fabric.

Fabric choice for the garments pictured:

• Acid green Britt mini in baby cord from Lillestrøm sewing center used with dotted Ada jumper in viscose jersey.
• Blue gray Britt (adult) in medium thick wool used together with dotted Elvane top in woven viscose.
