Huy is a decorated but comfortable pair of trousers with an elasticated waist. It has interesting pockets at the front and back, where the entire pocket bag is in one piece. You can choose between wide or narrow legs. The trousers are surprisingly easy to sew.

So that the recipe should be easy to follow for a beginner, all steps are thoroughly explained with text and illustrations.

The pattern is available as a PDF in Norwegian and English or as a paper pattern in Norwegian. All sizes are included when you buy a pattern.

Sizes: 32-56 (measurement chart)

Fit: The pattern has 6 cm of slack included in the hip measurement. For a narrower model, or if you use fabric with stretch, you can safely go down a size.

70-120 cm knitting with 2-2.5 cm width
Sewing thread

Choice of fabric

A thin to medium-weight woven fabric in cotton, linen or wool is recommended. Be sure to choose a soft fabric. The elastic waistband will look bulky if the fabric is too stiff or thick. Fabrics such as thin twill, tweed, thin denim or soft corduroy will work well.

Both trousers in the picture are sewn in medium-thick woven wool intended for a suit or suit. These are the same two trousers shown on the ladies' and men's.
