A medium thick to thin fabric in e.g. viscose, tencell/lyocell, cotton, linen, silk or wool are recommended. The dress can look very elegant and decorated in company fabrics, such as silk or tencel, and more everyday in linen or cotton.

The mint green and the floral dress are sewn in woven viscose with a button closure. Sea green dress in woven linen with side zip. Red dress in cotton poplin and side zip. The black dress with a gathered skirt is sewn in thin viscose crepe. The skirt is a square piece of fabric gathered together, instead of the skirt in the pattern. The long-sleeved coral pink dress is sewn in thin wool. The sleeve in the pattern is extended and it is sewn on a narrow cuff with a loop and button at the bottom. The two identical dresses are sewn in printed cotton canvas.
