Kathinka is a classic pair of trousers with a high waist, pleats at the front, slits at the back, bib, waistband and pockets.
To make the recipe easy to follow, All steps are thoroughly explained with text and illustrations.
The pattern is available as a PDF in Norwegian and English or as a paper pattern in Norwegian. All sizes are included when you buy a pattern.

- 1.3 m - 2.4 m fabric* (140 cm wide)
- 0.2 m pocket lining (140 cm wide)
- 0.5 m non-woven fabric
- 15 - 25 cm zipper
- Button
*size 32-36: 1.3 m, size 38-42: 1.5 m, size 44-54: 2 m, size 56-64: 2.4 m. The amount is calculated on the basis that all the pieces lie the same road.
Choice of fabric
Choice of fabric
A medium-thick fabric in cotton, linen or wool is recommended, such as twill, denim, corduroy, tweed or other solid fabrics intended for trousers.
Fabric choice for the garments pictured:
Olive green trousers in heavy cotton twill. Bottle green trousers in corduroy.
Blue trousers in light cotton twill used together with Inger as a top. The model has a sloping back and has therefore been given four incisions at the back, instead of two, as in the pattern.
