- 2.1-3 m fabric* (140 cm width)

- 1.5-2.7 m jersey* (140 cm width)

Fabric selection woven version:
It is recommended to use a thin fabric with a drape for this dress. For example, woven viscose, soft silk or thin linen (110-200 gsm). Try stretching the fabric a little at an angle to see if it will work. If the fabric is too tight, the drape in the front will not lie as intended and the bodice will feel tighter than intended.
Fabric selection jersey version:
It is recommended to use a slightly firm jersey fabric, such as cotton jersey. Other qualities will also work, but thinner, more “lively” fabrics will be more challenging to sew nice straps into and the fit will tend to be a little looser in such fabrics (e.g. thin viscose jersey). Before you start sewing, you should wash the fabric, to avoid the fabric shrinking or fading in the wash later.
