Sigrid is a simple pencil skirt with darts at the front and back, facing at the waist, zipper at the side and optional lining. The facing makes it lie softly over the stomach without being tight. The instructions works well for a beginner.
To make the recipe easy to follow, All steps are thoroughly explained with text and illustrations.
The pattern is available as a PDF in Norwegian and English or as a paper pattern in Norwegian. All sizes are included when you buy a pattern.

Choice of fabric
A mid-weight fabric in cotton, linen or wool is recommended. Fabrics such as canvas, twill, tweed or denim will work well.
Fabric choice for the garments pictured:
The patterned skirt is in stiff furniture fabric from Lillestrøm sewing center and the plum colored skirt is in heavy wool with canvas as a coating. Both skirts are unlined.
