Sørensen is a vest for the collector or the handyman. It is a simple vest with a zipper in the front, and as many pockets as you want. The fit is roomy enough to have room for a warm sweater underneath, but narrow enough to be practical to work with. Sørensen is quick and easy to sew and is great for beginners. How about finding some sturdy leftover fabrics and sewing a version with pockets in different colors? If you have several worn-out pants lying around, they can also be turned into a nice reusable vest.
To make the recipe easy to follow for a beginner, all steps are thoroughly explained with text and illustrations.
The pattern is available as a PDF in Norwegian and English or as a paper pattern in Norwegian. All sizes are included when you purchase a pattern.

Solid fabrics such as denim, twill, canvas, beaver nylon or similar are recommended for this vest. It can also be lovely with wool on the inside, as a lined version. If you want to sew the entire vest in wool, a tightly woven fabric is recommended, such as tweed, cotton or a light felt.
