• Sewing thread
• 50 cm fusible interfacing for collar and lining (optional)
• 50 cm narrow ribbon or elastic to anchor the pockets
• 2.5 m - 3.2 m fabric* (140 cm wide)

*sizes 32-36: 2.2 m, 38-46: 2.3 m, 48-52: 2.5 m, 54-64: 3.2 m

A medium-thick fabric in, for example, cotton or wool is recommended, but both thicker and thinner fabrics also work well, both woven and elastic. If you choose an elastic fabric, also be sure to use elastic seams.

Fabric choice for the garments pictured:

The peach-coloured patterned Marte is sewn from a cotton blend curtain. It is shown together with Knut's cap and Ivo's trousers. Light blue Marte sewn in solid wool felt intended for interiors. Dark Marte with a woven pattern is sewn in a thick and stiff furniture wool. Yellow Marte with geometric pattern is sewn in cotton canvas with wax print. It is shown together with Knut's hood and Josephine's skirt.
